Dear RIPPA Customer
Recently, our company has received market feedback indicating that some RS06 skid loader models exhibit an excessively high water temperature display. To conduct a comprehensive investigation and thoroughly resolve this operational anomaly, the RIPPA R&D Center, Quality Assurance Department, and After-Sales Service Department have established a dedicated technical team, which has performed multiple rounds of field testing under actual operating conditions and conducted root cause analysis. The detailed description of the equipment malfunction, identified causes, and comprehensive corrective measures is provided below.
After the equipment has been in continuous operation (traveling) for more than half an hour, the coolant temperature reading on the gauge rises rapidly to approximately 115°C (239°F)—exceeding the manufacturer’s standard operating temperature of 105°C (221°F)—and a high coolant temperature warning is triggered.
Through comprehensive testing and verification by the specialized task force, the anomaly was attributed to two combined factors:
This device is equipped with an analog water temperature sensor whose circuit resistance has not been matched or calibrated. The instrument readings show a positive deviation of approximately 10°C compared to the actual engine water temperature, displaying a higher temperature than the real value
The preliminary whole-machine testing focused solely on loading operation conditions and did not include prolonged site relocation tests or continuous heavy-load durability tests. Additionally, it failed to adequately cover high-temperature usage scenarios, resulting in insufficient thermal dissipation capacity under extended continuous operation conditions, which may lead to excessive water temperature elevation.
To address the aforementioned issues, our company has developed a comprehensive component upgrade plan, completed batch validation of the entire unit, and after rectification, the water temperature remains stable and meets original manufacturer standards.
The complete rectification package has successfully passed continuous durability batch tests on multiple units within the facility, with water temperatures consistently maintained within the standard range under all operating conditions.
To ensure stable and secure operation of equipment for global customers, our company will provide free proactive safety upgrade services for the affected batches of devices, covering all associated costs—including spare parts, labor, and logistics—with accompanying maintenance procedure manuals and standardized repair videos available for self-service use.
