Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar have won three A-League Grand Finals and the two sides continue their hunt for a place in this year's decider when they go head to head on Sunday.

Victory have home advantage at AAMI Park having finished second on the ladder, seven points clear of Roar in third spot.

Brisbane had to overcome Western Sydney Wanderers on penalties to progress from their Elimination Final and set up the showdown with Victory.

Now we have a mouthwatering contest in store on Sunday as the A-League's leading goalscorers this year go toe to toe in the shape of Besart Berisha (19) and Jamie Maclaren (20). Both marksmen will be crucial to their side's hopes of progressing to teh Grand Final.

While Victory have had two weeks off since the end of the regular season, Roar have had to play 120 minutes in the Elimination Final before travelling to Thailand where they were beaten 3-0 by Muangthong United in the AFC Champions League on Wednesday.

There is no doubt that the fresher legs of Melbourne hold a significant advantage and in the heat of the battle that should be crucial. A Big Blue Grand Final against Sydney FC awaits.
