Celtic head to Kilmarnock on Wednesday looking to make it three wins from three Scottish Premiership games.

Celtic have come flying out of the blocks in the defence of their SPL title and recorded their second 2-0 victory of the new campaign at Partick on Sunday to move to the top of the table, level on six points with Aberdeen and Hearts.

Wednesday's game with Kilmarnock kicks off at 04.45am AEST (7.45pm local time) and will be streamed live online.

After producing a dominant display against Partick at the weekend, Celtic turn their attention to Kilmarnock on Wednesday for their third outing in this season's Scottish Premiership.

Their first half performance against Partick was particularly impressive and manager Ronny Deila has challenged his side to repeat that in midweek.

The Bhoys dictated from the off against Thistle and took a well earned lead just before the half-hour mark through Tom Rogic, who made the most of a Leigh Griffiths knock-down to score on his first start in almost two years.

Kris Commons lobbed in a second on 63 minutes to seal the victory for Celtic, who are gearing up for their UEFA Champions League play-off encounter with Malmo next week.

Captain Scott Brown sat out that encounter to recover from a hamstring and he'll likely be rested again until Saturday's clash at home to Inverness.

Stuart Armstrong came off early in the first-half at Partick with stiffness in his groin and is also likely to be out until the weekend.

Kilmarnock, meanwhile, have yet to get any points on the board following an opening day 4-0 thumping at home to Dundee United and a 2-0 defeat at Aberdeen on Sunday.

Striker Kris Boyd, winger Kallum Higginbotham and goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald are new additions as Gary Locke's side look to improve on last year's 10th place finish.
