Heidelberg will be looking to join fellow minnows Hume City in the semi-finals by causing a significant upset when they host Melbourne City on Tuesday.

Heidelberg, who now boast Greek international Kostas Katsouranis in their squad, overcame Sydney United in the Round of 16 and come into the clash with City having also knocked Broadmeadow Magic out of the FFA.

They finished the NPL Victoria season third on the ladder before losing on penalties to Pascoe Vale in the Qualifying Finals.

Katsouranis, capped 116 times by Greece and formerly with Benfica, is a notable addition to the Heidelberg squad and the experienced international will bid to trouble Melbourne City's defence.

City narrowly avoiding defeat to Edgeworth Eagles as they scraped through 2-1 before putting A-League rivals Wellington Phoenix to the sword with a 5-1 victory in the Round of 16.

It looks a tough task for Heidelberg, but expect George Katsakis' side to take the game to City in the hope of pulling off a memorable upset.
