Melbourne Victory and Perth Glory have announced their squads for Saturday night’s blockbuster FFA Cup final at AAMI Park.

Perth feature in the Cup decider for the second successive season having fallen to Adelaide United last year, while Victory will be looking to add the FFA Cup to their growing trophy cabinet after winning the A-League.

The game will kick-off at 7.30pm AEDT at AAMI Park in Melbourne and will be broadcast live on Fox Sports in Australia. It will also be available to stream live online.

Victory - who are aiming to achieve the rare honour of holding the A-League Premiers Plate, Championship and FFA Cup at the same time - have a full contingent of players healthy and ready to go, including star attackers Besart Berisha, Kosta Barbarouses, Gui Finkler and Fahid Ben Khalfallah.

Add in experienced midfielders in Carl Valeri and Leigh Brougham, along with key defenders Matthieu Delpierre and Daniel Georgievski and you have one of the classiest overall sides in A-League history. Former Perth goalkeeper Danny Vukovic will also line up against his former club.

Glory will be bolstered by the return of skipper Richard Garcia, who missed the semi-finals through suspension. Imports Diego Castro, Gyorgy Sandor and Guyon Fernandez are all included in the squad and will expected to provide Perth with attacking spark in the final third.

What the coaches say

Victory boss Kevin Muscat: “What tomorrow represents is a big opportunity for us to win a trophy…it’s about preparing to be at our best because if we’re at our best we give ourselves a very good chance of winning.”

Glory coach Kenny Lowe: “If someone said to me that you could play in a Cup Final I’m not bothered where it is…and we’re really looking forward to the day. It’s going to be tough, it’s a great place to come, the pitch is magnificent, there will be a superb atmosphere and we’re playing against a very good team which you’d expect in any Cup Final. Hopefully we’ll come out the end of it with a happy face.”
