Sunderland's preparations for the forthcoming season continue under new manager David Moyes on Wednesday against Dijon FCO at Stade Camille-Fournier.

Dijon v Sunderland kicks off at 02.00am AEST (5.00pm UK) and will be streamed live online.

Sunderland continued their pre-season campaign under David Moyes with a couple of friendlies against French opposition this week. After facing Rotherham United over the weekend with their new Scottish manager watching on from the stands, the ex-Manchester United Everton man took charge against Stade Nyonnais on Monday and now faces Dijon on Wednesday.

Moyes, who will no doubt be looking to bring a couple of fresh faces in over the next few weeks, will be looking to get to know his side more during these two games at Stade Camille-Fournier in Evian, which was Germany's training base during the recent European Championships. He'll also be hoping for his side to pick up another pre-season win in this game.

Dijon will be no pushovers though. After facing a couple of lower league English sides in the shape of Hartlepool United and Rotherham United, and then a lower league Swiss side in the shape of Stade Nyonnais, this will be the Black Cats' biggest test of the summer so far as they take on a Dijon side who have recently been promoted back to the top tier.

Olivier Dall'Ogglio's men have played just one pre-season friendly prior to this match, which ended in a 2-0 defeat to Sochaux. With games against Nancy and Metz coming up before the serious stuff gets underway on August 13 against Nantes at Stade Gaston Gerard they will be looking to build some momentum heading into the new season in the tough top tier of French football.

With the quality of some of the players at his disposal, Moyes will be looking for a second win as Sunderland manager in this game, even if it's not a competitive fixture. In players like Wahbi Khazri, Jermain Defoe and Fabio Borini, he has enough attacking talent to work with to make Sunderland the favourites to win this particular match.

However, the Dijon players will be keen to earn a more positive result themselves following that defeat to Sochaux. They'll be more used to the French conditions too and will be a significant test.
