Brisbane Roar will be out to save their hopes of qualifying from AFC Champions League Group E when they host Kashima Antlers at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday night.
It is bottom plays top in Group E as Brisbane Roar look to revive their hopes of qualifying for the round of 16 when they take on Kashima Antlers at Suncorp Stadium.
Roar have collected a solitary point from their opening three group games, one of which ended in a comprehensive 3-0 defeat to Kashima in Japan.
John Aloisi's side have failed to find the back of the net in their three fixtures and will need to rediscover the scoring habit if they are to qualify from the group.
Kashima, on the other hand, sit pretty with six points from a possible nine - the defeat being a surprise loss to Muangthong United - and can take another step closer to the knockout stages with a positive result in Brisbane.
Both sides were beaten at the weekend with Brisbane going down 3-1 to Perth Glory in the A-League and Kashmima losing 1-0 to Cerezo Osaka in the J-League where they sit in third spot.
But Brisbane's inconsistent recent form makes it hard to make a case to back them and the value is to take Kashima to win the tie.
- Brisbane Roar are the only team yet to score in the group stages
- Roar could be eliminated if they are beaten and Muangthong United v Ulsan Hyundai doesn't end in a draw
- Roar have kept only one clean sheet in their last eight games in all competitions
