Dally M Medal Odds - Roger Tuivasa-Sheck $2.10 favourite for award

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is favourite to cap a memorable 2018 NRL season by capturing the Dally M Medal on September 26.

The NRL's end of season award will see the crowning of the winner of the 2018 Dally Messenger and it New Zealand Warriors star RTS who is expected to walk away with the medal.

Warriors captain Tuivasa-Sheck has been heavily backed with Sportsbet, firming from $2.60 into $2.10 on the back of a wave of bets including one $5,000 wager at $2.50 and another $5,000 punt at $2.10.

RTS holds almost twice the money at Sportsbet than South Sydney Rabbitohs' Damien Cook ($4.50), Newcastle Knights' Kalyn Ponga ($5.00) and Valentine Holmes ($5.00) from the Cronulla Sharks.

Ponga was $201 at the start if the season and one punter stands to collect $55,275 after placing a $275 wager.

Cook was also big odds and a $200 wager at $101 is also riding on the result.

“RTS has received a lot of support during the latter stages of the season. That support has increased over the last couple of weeks and punters have basically singled him out,’’ said’s Will Byrne.
