Girl group Trill were the first act voted off the X Factor Australia on Monday night.
The all-girl Filipino act lost out in the showdown sing off with Adrien Nookadu with judge Ronan Keating making the decisive decision to eliminate Trill from the Channel 7 hit show.
Trill's performance of I Will Never Let You Down and Nookadu's version of Stupid Love failed to capture the attention of the public during week 1 of the live finals, with the two acts voted into the Final Showdown.
It was Nookadu, part of Natash Bassingthwaighte's under-25 category, who got the vote of the judges after performing If I Was Your Man in the sing-off showdown as the Dannii Minogue-backed Trill, who sang a version of Leave (Get Out), became the first act voted out of series 6 of the hit show.
Brothers 3 had earned the 13th spot on the show on Sunday when awarded the wild card vote to give Minogue four acts, and the teen country sensations proved an instant hit with their version of Just The Way You Are.
But all four judges are left with three acts each following the elimination of Trill.
It was the newly-formed girl group XOX, who were only put together by judges Ronan Keating, Danni Minogue, Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Red Foo at boot camp, and former Scarlett Belle stunner Reigan Derry who impressed most.
XOX wowed the audience with a breathtaking high energy performance of Neon Jungles' Braveheart dance floor anthem, prompting Keating to declare that they could become the first ever group to win the Australian X Factor if they kept those kind of performances going throughout the contest.
Derry, meanwhile, produced a powerful and captivating rendition of Katy Perry's mega hit Unconditionally as the final performance of the night, with her a flawless vocal display resulting in all four judges claiming that the show could have already found its winner during the first week.
