X Factor Australia - Girl group XOX divide the judges with their Week 3 performance

XOX.

X Factor Australia girl group XOX divided judges opinion on Sunday night during their modern day performance of 90's song "Groove is in the Heart" by Deee-Lite.

One week after landing in the bottom two after a lacklustre legends week in which they sang "Last Friday Night" by Katy Perry, XOX once again found themselves in the firing line, with Ronan Keating and Red Foo declaring there is still something missing in their performances.

"It was lacking for me," Keating said.

"What they've shown us in the past is that they the ability but I don't know what's happening between you guys (Danni's and XOX's relationship) but I just didn't feel it fired, it just didn't happen. You've got to get it right."

Natalie Bassingthwaighte disagreed however saying that she loved the performance while their mentor Danni Minogue said she was "offended" by Keating's criticism of the girls and that they were getting "kicked for no reason".

Directed at Keating, Minogue said: "I personally am offended because you say you don't like it when we criticise your acts but I feel like your kicking the girls (when they're down)."

"We took on board the feedback (from last week) so we took this song and did a club remix of it. If you're not used to that and you don't go to clubs anymore because you're too old then I'm sorry," Minogue continued.

"I'm proud of what you've done to come back and I really feel like you girls are just getting kicked for no reason."

XOX survived last week's bottom two sing-off after the judges decided to vote off boy band Younger Than Yesterday.
